Turn old tires into planters
Old tires can be turned into versatile planters, from stand alone planters or cascading planter gardens, to some hanging ones. And you can either leave them black, or maybe repaint them. The painted ones will add more colors to your backyard and thus beautify it even more.
Old dresser planters
Old dressers can be also turned into wonderful planters. Find a good place for it, whether on the balcony, on the patio or somewhere else in the backyard. Again you can choose to leave it as it is or repaint it in some vibrant color.
DIY planters out of old clothes
If you have some jeans, hats, boots, bras etc., that you no longer wear, then don’t throw them away but turn them into some creative planters. Hang some hats on a fence to beautify it, place some boot planters on the patio or maybe make some planters out of jeans stand around some tree.
Recycled bottle planters
Plastic bottles are also great for recycling. Make a single planter out of one bottle, whether a freestanding or hanging one, or maybe use several bottles to make a vertical garden.
