Sun
The olive tree, like all fruit trees, prefers full sun (at least six hours of direct sun a day), so you must to put the plant near a sunny, south-facing window to obtain an even growth on each side and to allow the plant to get as much sun as possible.
Size
A full-size olive tree (10 ft) will not going to feel at home inside. Instead, opt for a dwarf variety that won’t grow much taller than a 6 ft.
