Wall Storage
Besides storing in drawers, you can also use the walls for storage. Choose to hang some of the pots and pans on hooks. Or maybe you can attach a pegboard on the wall and use it as a storage for all of your utensils. In this case pegboards become like an alternative to open shelves. Also, you can install some tension rods on the kitchen walls, for hanging some of the utensils.
